Title: "MUG SHOT"
This photo is my favourite of many motion picture photo's taken in a class assignment. This photo was apart of my Stop Motion category and came out successfully in my opinion. When first beginning the project in general, I had many ideas stirring in my mind as to what I could do to successfully depict each category with this idea. I originally thought with the mug and ball idea would be placed under the Subject Motion Blur category, but once the pictures were taken it showed something else. looking at the shot from a closer perspective showed that the photo was in stop motion because of the ability to catch the water being thrown up above the mug rim.
The idea to try taking the "Mug Shot" came from helping a friend to take the same shot prier to me taking mine. There were many problems I encountered with taking this shot on my own. The problems occurred when I first realized that I would being taking the shot on my own with no one to assist in helping me. This was a problem because I would not be able to look through my view finder, press the shutter button to take my shot and also drop the ball in the mug at the exact same time as taking the shot for an accurate time hit. There was a total of about 20 takes before the right one was caught on my camera. In the end I got my successful shot and things worked out to create my favourite stop motion shot.
The elements brought forth in the picture is depth due to the fact that picture shows its deepness of the cup and where it sits. Another element I tried to incorporate was the rule of thirds with the fact that the picture is in a one pattern background and the mug is near the right of the photo itself.

Title: "Watch out!"
Shutter Speed: 1/30
F-stop: 5.6
This photo is my favourite of the Illusion Assignment shoot done in class. In the picture you see I have one of my sisters sitting on the ground at a large distance from where I placed my camera. I took the toy car that they had been playing with and placed it very close to my camera in comparison to where she sits. I had used the children's toy car for multiple things in my photo assignments and this was yet another idea using the same object.
When thinking up the ideas in general to create an illusion shot, I had many ideas but this particular one was a bit of a mistake. I originally had the idea to create a photo with one of my little sisters trapped inside of a glass cup, but before I could take my shot I had to create space for it and the small toy car was in my way of the shot. Because I placed myself on the ground I was already at a lower level, so right before I reached out to move the toy car I say my sister through the small car window. PING! I had a new idea for my illusion shot. In the end that one mistake turned out to my favourite shot of the whole shoot.
The elements i brought forth in this picture is , again, the creation of depth. Reason for this is because everything in the background is deep with colour creating an even deeper sense of depth.
